How it worksCreators pay no fee, ever — the creator always receives the exact tip you intend. As a supporter, you fund a small platform fee: 5.0% of your tip, or $0.50 — whichever is greater — plus a processing allowance covering card, fraud-screening, and payout costs, all included in the total shown before you confirm. One price for every card.

The exact total is always shown before you confirm, and your card statement will show TIPJAR* followed by the creator's name, so you recognize the charge. Payouts to creators start at $50.00 in eligible funds, which keeps the tip jar free for creators — the platform covers its monthly Stripe Connect costs from the payout floor, not from tips.
